Lisa Riehl is a passionate artist and teacher who believes in the joy of making art at any stage of life. With an affinity for rich textures and expressive colour, she loves to paint large canvases in oils and acrylics, capturing the beauty of the West Coast by focusing on light and movement. Lisa also finds inspiration in the immediacy of watercolour sketchbooking, using it as a way to explore ideas, document everyday moments and keep creativity flowing.
Lisa is a firm believer that art isn’t about being perfect - it’s about showing up, exploring and having fun along the way. She thrives on creative discovery, embracing the process over perfection and encouraging those around her to do the same. Through her teaching, she empowers others to dust off their creative dreams, pick up a brush and reconnect with their artistic spark, reminding them that “It’s Never Too Late to Create” - the name of her signature series of art classes designed to help others rediscover their creativity.
