My journey with art was not something I sought out. It found me.

I was always a dreamer; my imagination filled with ideas of impossibilities becoming reality. In my 20's, my dream of becoming a Marine Biologist came true and I received a degree in Marine Sciences and Biology, traveling around the world and working for several years in the field, until life took a series of unexpected turns.

In some ways, over the years it felt like I had been heavily pruned. I tried many times to pursue other endeavours, but the branch left growing was simply creativity, and particularly painting.

I never imagined I would call myself an artist, but it is a humbling honour that I carry this title. It is a path where I continually get to make the impossible become possible, I get to create something out of nothing, I get to create realities, and that is what I hope my paintings are for others. Windows of hope and light.

I currently am painting in acrylics, inspired by the beauty of the province that surrounds me, painting year round in all seasons; the mountains, forests and seas.
