Carol Bednarski is a self-taught impressionist/abstract artist with a unique and dynamic style all her own. Her work is characterized by bold brush work and a loose intuitive approach. She is known for her fearless use of colour and richly layered textures. Painting land and seascapes, florals and still life, she seeks to convey truth, beauty and authenticity in her work.
Carol’s work has been published in several magazines including 'Gold List’ Top Contemporary Artist of the Year by Art Market Magazine, Sky Lounge Magazine, and ‘The Great Book of Art Makers’ 2025. Carol is an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and a board member for the Victoria Chapter.
